Had a fantastic day, the weather certainly helped, as did the parking Mafia ;)

Let's get a list started for Castle Howard and try for 20+ cars
1. @AndyRC - GR86 🀞 Toyota permitting

The parking Mafia will have more fun , lots of colours to sort out with the GR86 😎

Thanks to all that attended, another great day had by all and cracking weather.
I'm sure we will attend this event again next year and we'll take a look at the SCITP Castle Howard day once more details are released later in the year. (y)

Anyone posting on the forum Instagram account, feel free to use any of my pics. Will see if I’ve got any more decent ones too.

If you didn’t park like a granny you would have been fine πŸ˜›πŸ˜›πŸ˜†πŸ€ͺ

Don’t tempt me…I was think of going for alternate colours. 2 different shaped cars could bring on a panic attack though! πŸ˜†πŸ˜†πŸ˜ Also a wheel measure and spray paint would be handy, or is that a step too far? πŸ™„
Hopefully you all know me by now and know I’m joking, or am I?

Some small stakes and a bit of string was all we ever needed for the Scoobies, and most of those owners could barely string a coherent sentence together :ROFLMAO:

Castle Howard is first Sunday in September as far as I can see on the website.
Count me in for that.
Which cars did you enjoy looking at most last week?
For me it was:
The older ones from my youth - possibly the 80s.
I was initially a Ford chap. Had more Fords than all others put together until garages let me down not the cars.
Always wanted the Escort RS turbo in white but only could afford the XR3i (red) about 1982 I think, hence a GRY in red.
I really enjoyed looking at the immaculate old Fords. Also liked the Honda S2000s. New cars - really like the Arbarth 500s as a small city fun car.
I spent ages chatting to the couples who had the 40 year old Escorts and absolutely cherrished them and kept them pristine. First car I went to was the red Celica (I had 2) and a young chap who was so proud of it. It was in great condition and he paid Β£1100 for it as his first sports car - less than one wheel on our cars. It was lovely spending time with him as he just loved his car and it wasn't about having lots of money.
Had absolutely no interest in the expensive Β£200k cars and walked past those when I heard a chap saying he had one of those last year. Has this now and will buy one of those next year. No thank's, not interested.
Looking forward to September to look at them all again.

Yes you have pretty much echoed my thoughts and the S2000's grabbed my attention. Was contemplating Castle Howard but have other plans for early September, so a bit unsure. (y)
