Event Japfest 2025 Silverstone 13/4/25

Hi. Only just realised I can make this after all, what with a new house purchase going through. I have a GR86 (was a GRY owner before along with every generation of GT-FOUR). Keen to come along with my son. Can I get the car on the stand or is is just general population now I’ve left it so late?

Stand tickets have sold out for the entire event.

General admission or keep an eye on if any stand member can’t make it.

I can look into transferring my display ticket. [may be persona non grata to the Zoo after trading my 86 to another Toyota product. 😳

PM if you are interested & happy to reimburse the cost, and I’ll look into transferring the booking/reg#

BTW you’ll need to investigate whether you can supplement this with a passenger ticket.

PS. Still keen to attend JapFest - will try to blag a lift/place with one of the gang who bought accessories from me. 🤞
 
Quick question. If my car is on the club stand, what time can I leave? Is it at closing time only? Guessing just driving out before is a big no no if anything like Castle Combe shows as just too busy. Just being mindful of the fact j may need to leave before the end at 17:00.
 
You should be able to leave whenever you wish @Reeves999999 , some will stay until the close of the show but many will start to depart early afternoon.
Just make sure if you are blocked in by another GR Zoo member on the day, you get their phone number.

We'll only find out when they release the layout and car passes a couple of days before - hopefully we will get a decent pitch due to our size (probably 60 - 80 cars) and popularity of the cars and GR brand. 🤞

How do you transfer a display pass to another person/vehicle?

Trying to do this for @Reeves999999 but can’t work out how to do it?

To be honest the website is as clear as a dark foggy night with sidelights only!! Personally I would pick up the phone to transfer the name and reg over, I guess while your still the registered car you could buy the passenger ticket and then Reeves reimburses you.
 
Tickets being distributed on email today by Japfest and you should be able to login to the portal and download the vehicle pass for entry.

I don't have access to the layout, but we appear to have section T8, which may be in a similar position to the 2024 event on the infield, but not confirmed.

If I see a map I will upload.
 
We are going to be in section 8. Looks like the same spot as last year.

Wish I’d booked a stand place just in case - date looked impossible at the time, now it’s free. I didn’t even consider being able to sell it on. :mad:

Would have been a nice run out for Lilibet (GR86)| - and the wife.
 
If there are any last minute cancellation's I would very much like to attend and can buy your ticket off of you
