GR Yaris Japanese sized rear plate.

Mine's 13x8 for a similar look, but think Japanese size is smaller which I'm not sure if strictly legal in this country because of the official font size and requirements for the gap between the characters and the edge of the plate. I'm sure there will be plenty out there though

Edit: That would only matter if your reg has to go on two lines of course.

I have bought 13x7 and also 11x8 (official UK size for two lines). If the 13x7 is a little risky, I'll use the 11x8. For the front I've gone for a 16" plate as it's only 6 digits.

This is the one I found on Google. This one is de-badged but from what I can see with Japanese plates, the bottom of the plate sits in tine with the bottom of GR-FOUR.

I *think* that's actually a 13x8. Absolutely not trying to be pedantic, but I recognise UDO and must have read @BlueIn2Red 's thread so many times during my long wait I might have even used that as my choice too:

I used to make others look good, while doing enduros and rallies on bikes in Wales, hence the name.

Going to resurrect this thread thinking of going for square plates all round? Does anyone have pics on the front? also has anyone had any problems running the small import size plates? they come fully marked up so i would have thought it should be fine for the road legally ? or should i go for the UK style square to stay safe ?
