GR Yaris Issues when driving on slippery surface

What are the best mudflaps for driving on snow
The ones that stay a bit flexible when cold but are strong.... PU (Kaylan) maybe better then PVC?

I've lost a front rallyflapz and iirc @Michael Knight had the same. I've now put an 'aftermarket' top screw so hope they stay put.
Rear the Rallyflapz seem to stay put but MFF has a better attachment bracket.

But maybe better losing a flap then getting the attachments ripped off....

So can't really recommend a special mudflap, it depends...

Close call but good showcase on what happens when correction is too strong.
Careful with lifting/throttle and corrections when it goes (that is)

He rattles round there at some pace though, does a lot of laps. Almost inevitable he'll come a cropper at some point.

Those tyre pressures seem high though, can't have helped.

Still a good reminder that if you're gonna push this car's grip, you need to train what to when it runs out of it properly. Or leave at least expert mode on...

would be fun to test what expert mode saves and what not. I'm guessing that for these fast (unintented) weight transfers its too slow and if it is actually limiting throttle input can hassle the corrections? unless it is trained smart. If it could work as ESP and not mess throttle that much it could work. But I have feeling that it allows some skidding (ESP half way off) but then limits the throttle if slide is too long. Anyone willing to test at Schwedenkreuz?

In my experience - not Schwedenkreuz speeds - it will soften big unintended oversteer, if you're on the throttle at that point - yes it interferes a bit. But it hardly interferes when 'driven like an expert' and I think it is well done, I only switch it off when going for full send rally driving...

Even if it interferes a bit, away from prize money or internet glory and with bills to pay, would probably leave it on in a place known as green hell...

Reminds me what @Onehp wrote on here:
Most people can catch the first slide, but its getting out of that one as grip is regained that catches most out, aka secondary slide or tank slapper.

Good conversation here and advice worth considering in and out of green hell.
