So I'm cracking on with my nurburgring prep. Changed brake pads and fluid, changed the oil, tightened everything up that had come loose and that's when I noticed I'm missing a clip on the rear brake line. I phone all the autofactors with no joy so my poor girlfriend's palette knife become a sacrificial lamb 🤣

I wonder if it will last the weekend? Spring vs non spring steel n all that. Fair play for getting out there and fabbing one tho :)

Funny thing is it actually feels more secure than the others. New ones on order I just needed to get it back together and the brakes bedded in. Got some new wheels coming next week so I'll swap it out then.

Put of interest Deano had anything come loose, if so what? Cheers Greig

Oh loads of stuff. I've never been under it and not found issues. Same with the inspections that everyone cries about. I had loose prop shaft bolts on the last one!

Sometimes just not torqued, sometimes actually loose.

Drop links, strut bolts, caliper bolts, undertray, bungs pushed in or missing, drive shaft, engine mounts

Same here. Somethings always loose. 😅
That‘s why i mark every bolt that is supposed to stay in place.
This way i can take a quick look and check in 5min if everything lines up.

Started that on my racecar.
Saved me multiple hours over the course of a season.

Hmm found one such piece in front of my garage the other day - didn't know what the part was but now I definitely know. are they falling off ?

Your new evidence would suggest so..... I just made sure they are all spun around so they remove towards something solid
