Keep in mind that the whole car (except the roof lol) is built around high seat ergonomics
Lowering seat much may:
- increase reach to steering wheel, forcing one to sit more upright (if reach is already maxed out before)
- significantly reduce rear passenger space (some people use them rear seats...)
- possibly reduce pedal ergonomics (had this on previous car)
- steering wheel possibly covering upper part instrument cluster
YMMV, just a little heads up (pun intended) on possible downsides
