Noted some stone hits in rear control arms so fabbed quick and dirty under protection for rear control arms.
Not maybe factory like but believe does its trick. Plan to add few extra protection also to front mud flaps inner sills and maybe also in the middle of the underbody..

Used larger zip ties for mounting as don't want to add any metal hardware. could be mounted also with rivets but trying this first.

Thanks for the tip regarding the airbag spring opening!

Ergonomics can make a huge difference, even more in the GRY.

Steering wheel extender and CAE shifter are high on my list of desired modifications.
I have the boes seat console so it already rises the shifter relatively to the driver. Would be nice to test the CAE - have never driven one but stock shift feels quite good as is - engine mount insert and transmission oil changes improve the shifting feel to stock setup.

As a tall person (191cm) now I feel theres good ergonomics in the cabine and driving position is quite sporty

Pads seems to lost their dusting as did 250km of small roads and no dust - though was not using brakes that much as was not driving alone and its kind of difficult to drive fast with passangers. Well, try to get a micrometer this week and measure disc thickness to get a baseline where we are prio track day on Saturday.

Our youngest was so keen in test driving Toyota models that he got a Toyota teddy as a present - good service !

As real axle was quite sand blasted, GR got under seal fixing in nearby shop.

Also see the beating what current axle protectors have gotten.. would like to add maybe a pair extra in the middle of the car but havent found good mounting spots yet..

What did you replace? Was eyeing up this kit, is it any good?
Same kit but modded as they tend to hit with driveshaft rubbers. Metal parts need to be ’twisted’ ’forward to create more gap between the hose and driveshaft. Using now new hoses as old got destroyed - yet to analyse if these last any better but did not notice them hitting against driveshafts during install so hoping they would work better..

Oh I see, thanks!

But of a shame the kit needed modifying, I would have thought the company would have checked that the parts didn't foul on surrounding areas.

I've been looking into simpler ducting (RS3/GT3 ducts) but haven't decided which way to go yet.

Thanks for your help!
