Hello from Munich. I'm already on gr-yaris.uk. but this is my introduction on here.

My name is Max, I'm 34 and from Munich. Recently bought my second GR Yaris PP . This time a white one. Until recently I had a Lotus Elise S1 with a Honda k20 conversion. Lots of adventures, trackdays, love and blood went into it- for over 10 years. But now I've relapsed and bought a GR Yaris again and sold the Elise.
With a house and two small children i just don't had time to drive it. After all, I can throw the kids in the GR.

Are you planning on printing your own? I like the idea of adding a 3D printed intake feed from the lower “high revs” air box flap, a bit like the Forge intake does.

Interesting. Do you know if he had measured power before and after? Not sure I’m ready to junk the whole stock air box atm. I was thinking to just duct some of the cool air from the grille down to the lower opening. Although that forge carbon inlet duct does look rather lovely 🤣

He measured with insoric on the road which is about as accurate it gets for measuring intakes real world, and measured a 8-12hp increase. If keeping stock box, I think Forge is best, if willing to replace lower part of air box but keeping stock (good)filter, this is best option imo. Makes much more sense the the kits that replace the lid...

Mate of mine does a lot of 3d stuff in his freetime. He is up to design something like the itg printed / forge carbon intake. I want to keep the airbox stock for now. Helmut sure did a great job, maybe i will try that later on.
