Hello from sunny Scotland. I missed the 2022 allocation of the GR86 and so went off and bought a brand new KonaN instead. Roll forward 18 months and after responding to Toyota's random email, my GR86 is now in build. I hadn't expected to be selling my KonaN so soon but, here we are! I'm now busy taking off all the mods, Eibach springs, exhausts etc etc and either selling them for a song or giving them away. To be honest I'm quite excited about the prospect of a GR86. I've gone for a manual in Magnetite Grey, which has pleased the wife because she won't drive my car which has an 8 speed DCT. That said, I actually like automatics as they are so easy to drive - guess I'll just have to get used to some left foot action again. Cheers-the-Noo!

Congrats and nice to see someone fairly local to me although I have also recently ordered a magnetite grey manual! Not to worry, my father in law got the email yesterday and he’s gone for red so that should break it up if we get a local meet on the beautiful Fife coast!

Wouldn't that be a fun thing! It's also a lovely drive down to the Borders along your part of the coast road too. There are a lot of people getting the invitation emails now; some seem to be immediately available whilst others are in-build. The dealership in Dunfermline is expecting to deliver 4 so far this year and I know of a few others up Perth way. We could end up with our very own GR86 convoy!
