I’ve seen these mentioned on US forums. They do sound interesting although I’m a bit wary of some of the plug in units and even the various aftermarket light options. Comments on installation threads of videos seem to mention differences depending on market variant.

I'm still very tempted by this. I also noticed on Japan cars I've seen on X that in track mode the side screen doesn't have temps but can have something else like you'd have on normal mode.

I have this on my JDM 86 - works pretty well but I mainly got it for the dashcam harness and the auto door locks, though the windows on the key feature is nice to have.

This can be programmed independently via Techstream too. I did it on mine and it’s very handy during hot weather to be able to drop the windows remotely without the faff of climbing in and switching on the car.

I don't have one, but that Hachi Electronics guy is very active on the US forums and on the GR86 Reddit, and he's a bit of a wizard. I bought my auto dimming mirror kit from him and I'm impressed with it and the loom he supplied with it to make it an elegant fit. If you've got any concerns about how well it works on a UK model, it would be worth messaging him with any queries.

I think I heard this was possible, so maybe its not offering anything out of the ordinary but its nice to be able to quickly change the settings via bluetooth and the dashcam harness really makes a nice fit for it all.
