Gran Turismo

Game finally finished downloading. Loving it so far!

Find it strange the car is partly transparent in the reflections though!

After getting gold in all the licenses, I've moved onto the missions all gold apart from the Maggiore 1 hour....

Tips anyone? I'm lapping in the high 1.57's/low 1.58's, and the best I've done is 3rd 🤬🤬🤬

Took me a few attempts.
I got it done with the Subaru Impreza, med tyres. went really hard in the first few laps in the mid 1.57s up to 2nd place then dropped the fuel map down one and tried to maintain mid to high 1.58s and try to fuel/tyre save a little.
undercut on the pit stop and be careful til the end as the back markers can and will take you out!

Punt the beemer off on the first lap, it worked for me :D

Yeah there's definitely some luck involved in getting him off the track without harming yourself, I spun him on the exit of the banked corner and it put him all the way down to last, never saw him again. Not sure why but the AI is way to aggressive on some events, this being one of them.

Hi. I was like that at one time, too. I got tired of playing new games, they didn't bring me joy, and I guess I got tired of them. New games like Elden Ring and Stray are cool, I'm amazed at the quality of the graphics, but I guess I got oversaturated with the details and vulgar plot twists. So for a while I switched over to my old Nintendo DS handheld console and started playing Mario, The Legends of Zelda, and other games for DS Games that I could find. It helped me get rid of my gamer apathy a bit. I join the commenter above in suggesting that you play retro games like Mario Kart. It's really uplifting and extremely satisfying. I encourage you to give it a try.

Reviving this thread from over a year ago to say that I got a VR headset as they’re heavily discounted at the moment and just wowwww. I spent most of the time walking around the virtual cars in the showroom and it’s just incredible, hard to describe. It’s really good for looking at proper race spec cars eg the Le Mans HyperCars but the Toyotas we all have are faithfully there and it was fun to sit in my own car.

Doing short stints on the actual racing due to the inevitable motion sickness but it’s something else. I’m sure PC users will laugh as it’s been around for ages for them but I’m in awe of the fact you can have such an experience in your own living room for reasonably low cost.
