I'd like to know the cost of a full Brembo GT86 performance pack set up , it's a straight swap
I have no idea about that man, let me search around in Jap page and see can I find anything about that. BTW the GR kit is a direct swap as well.

How about suspension? I got my eyes on RSR Best-i.

Front brakes are easy to find it's a set of matching rears that's harder. I've no idea on suspension. I will want more compliant rather than stiffer as I have neck issues ☹️

I dont want a very stiff setup as well cause I usually just cruise along. I just want to get it lower for a tiny bit.

I’m sure folk with experience of the GT86 can help out on this as to what works best. 👍

I’d love if Toyota done dealership performance packs, like Abarth puntos and 500s back in the day with the esseesse kits.

To buy everything individually, so not part of the Performance Package your looking at several thousand pounds, between £3K to £4K easily.
I was looking at getting a set of the performance pack rear Brembo calipers and discs for my Gen1 BRZ however Toyota wanted around a £1000 just for the discs alone.
In the end I went for a cheap set of used STi rear brembos and DBA discs.

If Toyota did it as an option for say £2000, like they did with the Performance Pack, I know I'd definitely spec it.

The GT86 Performance Pack was a steal at £1460 , Brembos on all 4 corners , Sachs dampers and 17inch lightish alloys , as you say £2k for Brembos would have been a relative bargin. I’m guessing looking for second hand calipers, getting them refurbished (I’d actually like blue with black logos ) and discs of your choice is an option 🤔

I'm pondering the GR setup for mine. It's a lot of money but it's guaranteed to work, will not negatively affect warranty and will be fully backed by Fensport who are the official supplier.

It's a lot of money but last time I was in the market (~2006, full AP kit for a Monaro) they were £2500 and with inflation thats ~£3800 so £4200 with the peace of mind of them being "official" doesn't seem too bad really.

AFAIK Fensport already have a GR kit in stock ready for test fitting as soon as they can access a car and to check what wheels will fit. 18s should hopefully fit as the discs are slightly smaller than those on the GRY. 🤔

I'd be surprised if they don't fit under the stock wheels but if there is a clearance issue I'm sure some thin spacers are all that'll be needed. Diameter-wise it'll be no problem. I'm surprised there's no pics out there on the internet yet.

Looks like there's plenty of room inside the 19" wheel so it'll come down to spoke clearance

It’s definitely looking like a spoke clearance issue for the TRD kit the discs are actually 11mm smaller than those on the GRY but they run 18x8 with an ET of 45 so the GR86 on 17x7.5 ET48 may not clear the caliper. @Fensport will have the answer as soon as cars are available for them to test fit 👍

I’m guessing but if you want to run 17s then the TRD won’t fit , or be very tight. If you want matching front and rear calipers then the GT86 Brembo Performance Pack is the only other option I know of but it will fit if you can get the parts.
