I debated that one but wanted to see what plate I get from new will be and isn't top priority yet. Still wouldn't mind something with my initials.

I doubt it. In the past when I've ordered new vehicles it's been dealer discretion. The Fabia I didn't get a choice but the Triumph I did. They had 10 or so allocated to them. I picked GWY for two reasons. Gwyn is white in welsh and bike was white. and Gwyr (Gower) is where it lives.

Thanks for buying it’s great plate (saved me buying it) was hovering over that one myself..
 
So I have to confess I do not like personalised reg plates - however this thread got me thinking and I started playing around with options.

To quote the brochure:

The iconic phrase ‘Waku-Doki’ encapsulates the feeling behind Toyota’s Gazoo Racing heritage – translated as heart-racing excitement, and the adrenaline rush of pure, unadulterated driving thrills.

So I have gone for W4 AKU (Waku) it may look good on a small plate and maybe some uber car nerds will get it.

Well it looks like I’ve jumped the gun a bit and I’m well towards the back of the queue, not expecting a car until late 2023.

Is anyone interested in this plate, just after my money back ideally or I’ll try it on Collecting Cars when the first cars start arriving.

Just purchased B4 XGR
Bit of stretch but B for boxer, 4 for cylinders, dad was a professional boxer and I have had boxer dogs all my life, dad used to hang mini boxing gloves from the rear view mirror, little tradition I keep going, so rather happy with this!

Here are my other close contenders if anyone is looking for ideas;
D4 XGR, FRZ 866, H1 XGR, K80 XGR (the gf's pick being named katie)

X- GRX, the dash being any number, a fair couple available.

Decided i wanted a shorter reg to reduce the plate size on the front
 
Not ever really been into private plates but I like the thought of doing something in recognition of this site, without which I probably wouldn't have managed to secure a car. Have, therefore, just bought GR65ZOO. I think it will look good on the car too!

I wish we could have such plates in Germany. The options are pretty limited here but I managed to get "E1337" onto my plate a while ago and will take it over to the GR86. Some old gaming buddies have the same tag on their plate, so it's kinda cool - like a secret club that no normal person understands 😄
 
I was gonna put my own reg on it; since I do music and singing outside of my main job, my reg is MJ51 NGS (read it again without the space). But if my car's gonna be in 2023, I'm tempted to look out for GR23 MJM (GR = the car, 23 = MY23, and MJM = initials), put that on the 86, and then keep MJ51 NGS for the daily
