They won't register the cars until they're in the country so you'll be able to see it coming in via the MyT app and just send them the relevant information before then.

Wonder what they add to the plate, dealers insist on their name number etc🤔
 
When I registered a car new with a private plate, they issued proper dealer plates with the new reg for me to fix on the car as per my instructions when I collected. I liked the fact they had the dealer details on there from new.
I had different shorter plates at home anyway without superfluous text (apart from BS legalities) if I wanted to fit them but the dealer ones have remained on the car for the last 6 years anyway lol

Had private plates on cars before but never my own, always inherited from last owner. Is something I'd like to look into since the GR86 will be a keeper
 
Never had a private plate before. Went for… B6 GRX

If you squint it could read “86GR X” ha ha. Was only cheap so thought why not?
 
I've got a 4 digit number plate and a 5... both of which are my name/initials. I inherited them so they're on all my cars! Makes life nice and easy for parking machines haha.

I saw that one and was very tempted but have a personal plate already. I think you got a bargain and will look great on the car!
