Now these would go nicely in a GR86, especially as Toyota have kindly not used any of that red stitching that no one wanted 😉

Oh these are pretty!

The standard Sportster CS run around £1,200-£1,400 each, if I remember correctly so I can imagine GR branded ones won't exactly be light on the pockets...
Apparently though, the standard GR86 seats aren't all that bad but we'll have to see.
 
The Sportster CS seats are great. A friend had them in his 200 Clio Cup. I debated a set for the vRS but were silly money so never bothered.
 
As lovely as they are (I have them in my Focus) they can be a pain to get in and out of if you're using your car as a daily driver.

Unless you have the technique to get in and out of without eventually damaging the seat bolsters on the side - Seat all the way back - sit in the front edge of the seat - swivel your legs out and stand up. If you just try and climb in and out without moving the seat back you'll wear the side and base bolsters in my experience.
 
There was a couple of different TRD options available for the Gen 1 cars as well. Although still not exactly cheap or especially daily friendly, saying that I actually prefer my bucket seat to the OEM seats:

I'd have liked if the UK standard seat spec had that little red line on the seat bolster - but that's way more bold! :love:
 
As nice as those seats are does anyone else think a four figure sum for a seat is absolutely bonkers? Bet they are not even heated :LOL:
 
Makes it look like a bargain when I paid for the option and got those seats in my RS for £1100 ish the pair (y):ROFLMAO:
