Just had a call from my local Toyota dealer, letting me know that Toyota will be taking a GR86 to the MR2 National Owners Day, on the 29th May. Now I can't promise the car will definitely be there, I'm just going from what I've been told, but if you're in the West Mids / Warwickshre and not doing anything else that day, it's got to be worth a trip to get to potentially see a GR86 in the flesh. Typically with these things, I'm not around to go that day, but if anyone else goes, take lots of photos/have a good poke around the car/ask the people from Toyota lots of questions, and post all the info back here somewhere. Just sent them an email to see if I can go and have a look (assuming it's there) I am right on it's doorstep so would be good to be able to see it in the metal.

Thanks for this, I'm local and might be able to get along.

Putting two and two together I think we might have the same dealer and be dealing with the same chap there - JS at LT in C?

Yes it will, I had a confirmed order at 10:14, and have been told October delivery, but until I see an ETA in my MyT account I'm taking that as an educated guess from the person I spoke to.

Confirmed order with ORCA number at 10:17 for me; no phone call as yet; 'processing' in MyT. I doubt I'll get mine before you...

I got my order confirmed at 10:05, I've had the call, estimated August/September, doing the sneaky google estimate date is August 5th, but we shall see who wins the race ;)

I'm guessing it'll be you from the order confirmation times, and from the fact that you can see an estimated date.
