GR86 GR86 Duckbill spoiler install

What colour is your GR86 out of interest?

I have ordered an eclectic blue. Weighing up whether to fit a painted black one instead of trying to find someone decent who can colour match.

The painted black will be Crystal Black metallic, not sure if the mirror caps are metallic black or a flat black so there could be a slight variation which may or not bother you. 🤔

Electric blue so as you say, I need a competent painter. I watched the attached video and
decided I really wanted it, now it’s a race to see what arrives first ☺️

@ZN8 has a source for a company that can import parts direct from Japan 🤔 That may be an option unless someone decides to bring them in to order 🤔

A competent painter will be the tricky part. My local Toyota dealer are approved repairers too so perhaps they could spray for me but I'm betting the cost will be extortionate as it's a relatively small part. There are other painters about but not sure how many of them I'd trust.

@--Rage-- @AndyRC unfortunately no such luck on the spoiler front. Japanparts and blackhawkjapan are the same as over here, you can get it in the same 3 colours. I find that really odd. Why would it not be offered in the whole colour range.

It is a real puzzling one 🤔 Getting one painted over here may be the most practical option if you really want it body coloured 🤷‍♂️

Very curious 🧐 if this would be strong enough using the 3M adhesive that comes with it alone?
I have no experience of anything like this…guys in the video seem certain it is. Can you buy double-sided 3M tape?

Can buy it by the reel on Amazon. Pick your width and grade. If it can hold a GoPro on a plane wing I'm sure it will be fine. Had a hard enough job removing the camera mounts in the car
