I cancelled my original OEM pearl white spoiler order a few months back and am now considering black instead.

Really like the TOMS one but it's not cheap! Any found a decent alternative?

Does the OEM crystal black have a flake in it?

IMO black will look great on any of the lighter coloured cars

I agree, ordering a black OEM one seems the easiest option but if it has any flake in that might not work.

...quite drawn to the flat black of the TOMS one as well though

I have the oem black, took a quick photo for you.

It's really difficult to get a shot that portrays how it is in real life, but here it is directly below a light while trying to highlight the speckles.
Realistically you can't see them unless you get your face right up to it and try to bounce the light.

Does anyone know if the black on the mirrors of a non-black car is the same raven black? They definitely have a flake to them. Much more tempted by the oem black ducktail if so

ETA: have found 1 comment on Reddit that suggests they're the same. Might try and get to a dealer and borrow their paint samples

Bit the bullet and the OEM black spoiler looks to match the mirrors on others colours so that's a result... Now to find time to fit it!
