Congrats on the pick-up! A full tank of fuel is pretty considerate of them, although I'll be keeping up a fuss if I don't get my toy and bamboo box! 😁

I feel for those of you who are still in the dark and waiting for their car to turn up. Console yourself with the thought that most of us won't be able to get through the breaking in period before you get yours if this weather continous, and at least you'll have it registered in 2023 if it matters for you to have a "newer" car.

Hopefully all will be delivered soon and the communication improves. At least it looks like cars past 10:30-10:40 orders are going into build now, so I'd expect batches to be delivered over the coming weeks/months!

lucky! My dealer offered to go put a tenner in the tank as it was empty but I was more keen on getting the car with as few miles as possible (7).

I echo your thoughts about getting the car later, impossible to enjoy atm with the ice and the car is filthy from having sat in Derby so long even including the fabled bird poo on the boot!
 
Do we know the total number that have now been collected? Are we averaging like 1/2 a day?
 
My handoff process seems to have gone quite a bit different from what other people are describing here. I went to the dealer at the appointed time and then they made me wait over an hour because "the car hadn't arrived yet", after which they were doing final checks etc. before letting me see it. When I finally got to see it they had already taken the protective film off and put the license plates on without asking me. The only thing they gave me was the key, they told me the spare key and service book would be sent later by post. They didn't tell me about warranty, options or anything else. Literally just gave me the car and told me I was free to go. Strange?

Mine came with 13 miles on the clock.

I hope my dealer drove it carefully on their way to get fuel.

Bit stingey - I understand the dealers get their full margin for these online sales (around 3K?), so you’d think they’d fill it up with petrol, though I only got £15 in mine
 
Toyota GB phoned to say PDI is all done, finance payment will happen tomorrow, insurance starts on Saturday. Tomorrow is going to really drag but it's nearly there. As for fuel, if they aren't putting super in it I don't want them to. Nearest Super Unleaded station is a few mile which I'd rather them not do tbh.

@BanjoGazooey glad to hear you got your car. I think this is the same dealer that incorrectly called @rage a couple of days ago.. Marshalls Crawley?

Considering switching to a different supplying dealer now.

Presume these are accurate? Not due to collect mine until Jan but got this email at 17:00 today. Might ask if the sales guy can see it around.

That is shocking - was this a GR centre? Did you state beforehand about licence plate / protective film? I'm not sure they would take the initiative to ask first, unless you'd specified initially.

Yes, I have only added those that have confirmed when they have picked up their cars.

I'll add you on once you collect yours - the initial list was created months ago when we all thought we'd have a normal delivery pattern i.e. cars delivered from July 2022, which never ended up happening...
 
This is so frustrating, my dealer says my car is ready to collect now but it's toyotaonline holding everything up with paperwork.
Already rang toyotonline today and they promised would get back, not heard a thing......so close yet so far away.....
