Nice, we all get radio silence, while the PR guy gloats about getting to drive one this weekend.
I know what he could use this weekend - his email client to send everyone else a quick update.
Those cars are almost certainly in Crawley which is about 10 miles from me!! It would be great to get to see a GR86 in the flesh..

- Ok, which one of you was this?Not me! To me this is good news. It means that the GR86's that are on the UK press fleet are back on the road and that can only be a good thing.

My reply was a little less to the point haha.
It’s true though, we’re all excited for our cars but if Toyota are just going to pretend that we don’t exist whilst rubbing it in our faces, they’re not going to have a successful PR campaign.

Over on gr86.org, someone in Switzerland has just been informed he can pick up his car in two weeks.
Doesn't necessarily mean anything for us in the UK, but good to hear European deliveries are progressing. Annoyingly, "two weeks" would be about the estimate we had all been anticipating originally

Worth remembering those dates in the dev tools were essentially placeholders. Can always move up as well as back!

It seems to be multiple countries in Europe are getting their cars in two weeks, as Kosh has confirmed due to the resolution of the brake software. I reckon end of October seems realistic for the UK.Over on gr86.org, someone in Switzerland has just been informed he can pick up his car in two weeks.

My designated dealer is Crawley/Gatwick, wonder if I will get a call for a test drive soon!
