10.13 order of a manual in silver - just had an email to say build in progress, wasn’t expecting that!

App confirms the above, assuming correct - I’ll check developer tools later.

Don’t get me wrong mine is processing too. I’m a 10.43 order, but it’s nice to see cars finally going back into build again.

Especially with the impeding chip shortage warnings.
 
Feels like the cars come in batches which makes sense, a bunch of builds, then goes quiet, then a bunch of builds.
All ready to add to the giant car park in Derby 😂😢

Well ive spent the last 3 and a bit weeks tracking what i believed to be the ship my car was on, today my car updates to in transit at portbury while the ship is in dock in italy 🤷🏻‍♂️

So you tracked the wrong one ;)
The cars come in small batches on many ships.

Its hard to find the correct one.

Possibly, or the app is a bit off, i’ve checked the ships in portbury and they don’t match the journey, my car only left the factory 26 days ago so if its there its a quick one!

I also tracked mine and when the ship arrived, my status changed.
Maybe it was coincidence.

The data in myT was preset weeks ago and when it reached the date, i received the email.

We might be on the same Truck then :)
I am just wondering if it is actually true as mine is a 10.16 order (Black MT) and there's still plenty of people "in progress" who ordered before me
 
Just had a MyT update - car is now in transit to Derby :) Has been showing in Portbury (collecting seagull crap) since early July (jumped from Processing to Portbury in 3 days!)
ETA 17 Oct

P.S when I spoke to Toyota, the show cars are all pre prod so are not finished spec or homologated hence being allowed out on the roads/shows under the pre prod criteria.
 
Just had my phone call and confirmation of the order after months of radio silence.
Been told my orders estimated delivery will be the end of 2023.
They couldn't say a specific month but did say I'm near the end of the list and that it could even leak over into 2024 before I get my car.

They will have all the right bits to build them by then !! could be good to be at the end you might even get a spec upgrade or option of a special colour?
