For me, Santander will sometimes reject/hold a large payment if it is outside of normal spending and then give me a call on my mobile just to verify it wasn't fraudulent. This might require me to re-present the payment and they will watch it go through. That said, I paid over £35k for my KonaN using a debit card and had no problem, same went for my recent watch purchases which were both well over £10k and neither solicited any response from Santander. Tried buying a £90 wheelbarrow online the other week and they blocked my card! Go figure ... :confused:

At the end of the day I'd moan if they didn't make the checks I guess

I just hope that the dealer now gets his arse in gear and sorts the car... My existing car goes to Cazoo on Saturday

Had to jump through a few hoops with Chase. Barclays no problem though.

Mine was on opal ace, I spoke to Toyota online today and they reckoned the car would be at then dealer by 10th November. I’m hoping it’s sooner.

Mine is supposed to be delivered to the dealer on the 31st of October so you might get lucky too. They even gave me my reg number 😊

Mines now at the dealers so I guess I’ll be going through a similar process next week, we shall see how it goes!

Dropped my car at Cazoo Manchester this morning before heading over to the Etihad for the match

Can’t fault the service or the price they offered (£2k more than some others) but wasn’t happy with the location.. in sight of the swamp (Old Trafford).. I did manage to get out of the area wearing my city scarf which is a bonus

£8.5k loss in around 3.5 years.. disappointing but I guess it’s life.. Not a great time of year to sell a car so this was the easy option.. Sod’s Law I did have a couple of interested parties who voiced an interest who might have paid a little more but they were just too late in the day

Onwards and upwards.. the GR arrives on Wednesday 😬

You lucky man! I'm hoping I'll be doing the same this week. Spoke to Toyota, very helpful, sending me all the details to complete transaction and transfer etc., so should be a step closer today...

Good luck with the bank transfer.. First Direct thought I was spending their money I think 🤔
