GR86 GR86 - Auto Fold Mirror Kit

Aww that's gash they don't fold on lock!
Glad the GR Yaris does or that would bug the hell out of me! o_O :cautious:

I bought that kit and just fitted it to mine and it didn't work.

The only thing I can think of is that I've already buggered about with Techstream to open / close the windows with a long button press and maybe that's buggered about with some coding logic somewhere.
Oh well.

That's a shame - I bought one too (still in transit)

Wasn't sure what differences there are between the LHD europe models and ours, as Fred (AP756) managed to get it to work.

Wish I was even adequate at electronics, but alas...

I bought two of these modules (to get a discount), second one was fitted to a friends car. Both work like a charme. Only problem I found was that the "big connector" doesn't fit very well to the switch module. You need some pressure to make sure it's seated correctly (first time fitting I lost my LH window opener... Refitted and all is fine). There should be no difference in the loom of LH and RH car in this respect, it should work out of the box after applying "enough force" to make the connectors doing their job.

Bye for now Fred

Thank you for the glimmer of hope. I'll see how it goes when both it and the car turn up.

Fitted an autofold kit from Trac Electronics in Australia.
Looks the same/similar to the AliExpress one but they know what wires need to be swapped to work on the UK cars.

Sounds like it works. Does it?

Do you need to tell them is for a UK car when ordering I suppose?

Brilliant! Do you have a link?
I upload a quick video

This is the link
They said they know to make it UK spec by the delivery address

Edit: Cost £75 delivered

I'll probably get one ordered too, although I might have to wait on fitting until after I get my iffy window switch looked at. I'm sure if they saw an aftermarket box connected to the loom they'd immediately deny any warranty claim.

Just placed my order as well. Before I did I emailed and asked about UK compatibility and they confirmed what @Orro said (not that I don't trust you, but wanted to double check as it's coming from abroad....trust, but verify, as they say :D)
