well done Yaris. not the thoughest group to fight against if that was the verdict as on handling list of cars?

More seriously, that rear seat comment for a "sports car", well the actual space in the rear is real argument over the smaller space in e.g. the GR86 and especially 2-seat sports cars as I do have kids - with legs. That GR86 effectively being heavier and lower power and rwd only. Ok the boot is bigger, but the opening less practical.

Conclusion: buy something else ;)

I’ve had sub 6ft adults in the back for 2+hr journeys with no complaints at all.
 
Geraldine is clearly well informed, buying cars from the charity that is Bristol Street as opposed to shopping around. 🙈
 
Wow I am amazed, sure you aren't pulling our leg @Pappyjohn? Sure sounds like my last car conversation with my neighbour (last 4 cars citroens) LOL
 
I don't know about you lot but I've been dreaming of owning a (checks notes) "Citroen C4 Shine Puretech 130 S/S" for many many years.

"Retired Grandmother Geraldine Redding from Barton Under Needwood" kind of sounds made up. Like a spoof sketch show character.

Probably a lovely lady though.
 
Do you know what? If the GR86 makes it into the Driver Power/Auto Express results, I'm setting myself the goal (and you are all withess comrades) to be included in the owner comments in the magazine. I shall praise the engine, ride, handling etc; and very clearly set out my dissatisfaction with the lack of apparel storage.

You'll see.

I his arguments really bit funny. Instead of nagging him how awful Citroëns are in general, he can drive whatever s**tbox he wishes. kind of glass half full half empty dilemma likely, cannot really see the poin of complaining how awful others opinions are vs. appreciating the fact that its cool that we find various topics good or interesting.

But it is a very good advice that before you marry anyone, its worth getting now her/his parents well as likely the person will become either at some point.
But we all make mistakes. I do like Citroëns but its only those old DS models from 70'es.

It’ll probably win the best hot hatch category.

What came a close second for handling? A f***ing Land Rover Disco. Closely followed by the Ever Given, during its 3 point turn attempt in the Suez Canal. Jesus wept.

Citroen C4. The prosecution rests, your honour.
 
I can't wait to retire and not give a fk and just swap Citroens or MGs every 3 years when my PCP is up. I'd be a salesman's wet dream. Being a petrolhead is just too fkin stressful man.

Final salary pension Geraldine is living the dream!
