GR Yaris GR Yaris, what comes with it from new?

Dear all, now we have a small baby, just looking for a GR Yaris as a much more practical replacement to my current fun car, a Vauxhall VX220. The Yaris will be our 3rd vehicle.

I'm going to check out a few for sale in the next week or so, but as I'm a stickler for detail, I just want to make sure that all of the original equipment that came with the GRY when new from Toyota is present and correct. Therefore if anyone could list (or even better photograph) the following then that would be great.

All the keys, manuals, folders, documents, codes etc. that came as new from Toyota.

All the items in the boot compartment, tools, jack, first aid kit, etc.

With mine I got;

2x keys, 1 service book and 1 manual in a case. You can connect the car to Toyota app to view service requirements and driving data and service history.

In the boot you get a tube of slime, electric pump, towing eye hook. I also got a warning triangle, safety vest, fire extinguisher and first aid kit but these are country dependant on requirements. No jack, wheel nut wrench or spare wheel come with the car. I did however buy a jack and wrench for it and plan on buying a space saver for euro road trips that will live on back seat (you can't fit one in the boot).
 
Also in the boot should be the key for the locking wheel bolts (UK market)
 
Whilst I don’t have a young child to consider it’s worth speaking to some owners that do as the reports I’ve read are that it’s a pain in the arse. With the seat forward it’s quite tight to get in the back to get them in and out and I believe the child seats have to go in through the boot so you don’t want to be removing it. I think I also saw that the boot will only take a small travel pram and then good luck with baby bag and associated kit fitting in, 3 bags of shopping fills the boot nicely.

With that said as an occasional occupant in a 3rd car then you can make it work.

With that said you won’t get most of the kit Euge posted about.

UK cars are gunk and pump and towing eye in the boot.

Locking wheel nut key in a box located in glovebox or boot depending on your preference ;)

Leather wallet for manual and service book came with the mk1 but the mk2 doesn’t come with one and I suspect this is the item that will carry over with the owner.

And 2 keys. Earlier cars were presented the keys in a bamboo box later cars got some wild flower seeds in a card although these items I’d class as dealer freebies as they came with all vehicles.
 
This is the boot with all included UK items although from a mk2 so you won’t have the water tank and the wrapper colour was yellow from memory not blue/green

Agree with this. Small baby you will struggle to get a pram unless it's one of those airline carry-on fold-up jobs please additional things. I use mine 95% of the time with my 4 year old, so he's at an age where he can buckle himself in a forward facing seat. I can see rear facing ones being a bit of a nightmare, but if you are determined enough you can make it work.

Haha yes I know. It would be for occasional use only with the little one as we have a VW Transporter to do any load lugging. But trust me, the GRY is a lot more practical than the VX220 it's replacing.

I can’t say I ever bothered me as I always ran in sports mode most of the time so didn’t have to turn it off only needed to do that when in track mode.

But I suspect Toyota knew they were going to take a penalty on building the mk2 so just removed it. I drive a 10 year-old Citroen van occasionally and that has a better stop start system than the Toyota.
