... On PS4S I got about 15K out of them, around 12K on F1 SS.
That's a surprise to me. I would assume the F1 SSs would last longer than the PS4Ss.

Why would you assume that? Michelin has a history of making tyres that have a long lifespan. That's a surprise to me. I would assume the F1 SSs would last longer than the PS4Ss.
Yes RRG at Macc set it up.Thanks for sharing.
I appreciate you refer to these as "RRG fast road settings", but was this alignment job carried out by RRG Macclesfield or another business?
They will never as the (American system of ) tread wear is higher on the Michelin 180 as opposed to, I think, 150 on Goodyear. That's a surprise to me. I would assume the F1 SSs would last longer than the PS4Ss.
It was my general sense based on videos & posts like:Why would you assume that? ...
I ran the PS4S tyres for 10700 miles, before I was asked to review the Goodyear Eagle F1 Super Sport tyre for the last 10000 miles.
I've still got the F1 Super Sport tyres on and they still have life in them, which is quite impressive as they did a full season of sprinting and a half track day ...
which made me ask further above, as I would assume that a tyre that made it to 10k miles, after a full season of sprinting and a half track day, with 4.5mm still on, would last more than another 2k miles.... with my F1's getting towards the end of their serviceable life with 4.5mm still showing...
Ahh, now I understand where you're coming from. My understanding is that the Goodyear Eagle F1 SS is better with high heat applications like on track - which then in turns means less wear if you're using them like that. I don't think that you can really apply that to road usage though where the tyres stay in an entirely different temperature window. It was my general sense based on videos & posts like:

- the way I read @Lauren 's post , especially:

View attachment 12569My tyres needed replacing front and rear at 6k driven in track mode 100% they had 3mm left in the centre and worn on the inner edges. Getting cup 2 connect fitted next week
That's...not a lot of miles.View attachment 12569My tyres needed replacing front and rear at 6k driven in track mode 100% they had 3mm left in the centre and worn on the inner edges. Getting cup 2 connect fitted next week
Mine wear like that, inner edge gets the pain. I have 2.5 deg of front camber, and a slight tow in front and rear.
I’m not convinced about the benefit of steering feel vs tire wear. Although I’m fairly sure on track the setup is better and results in less sidewall scrubbing, as if it’s the road driving that does the damage.
I have 2.5 degrees negative camber on the front but parallel toe. They seem to wear pretty evenly.Mine wear like that, inner edge gets the pain. I have 2.5 deg of front camber, and a slight tow in front and rear.

Tracked - as in driven on one a few times? Can you guys help me out please and give an opinion on the front tyres? Picked mine up today with 1250km.
Is that tyre wear normal and acceptable or am I to sensitive here.
Thanks
I asked and it was said no. Just thought that it looks a little excessive for that low mileage.Tracked - as in driven on one a few times?
