I was told the 18th too... I guess that as the car is only mid-way through the Suez Canal as I type this that mine may be later too....

The only thing I am keen to do it advertise the ePace as soon as I know a date but it's good that the GR isn't here yet as we are putting some miles on the car atm with SWMBO's ongoing hospital treatment in Manchester....

My sources* tell me that there will now be a special GR86 'Sunak Edition ', which will be available to order for an extremely limited time only until 2035.

It has
a tiny, whiny little engine which emits lots of hot air

Perhaps in the interests of balance and to preserve a non-partisan forum environment, you could permit me the indulgence of telling you about the GR86 'Starmer Edition', which no-one knows the costs of and keeps unexpectedly changing direction?

My guess is likely due to a combination of reasons. Increased purchase price and more costly finance. Interested parties having bought other cars in the period between announcement and additional allocation availability. Those who didn’t gel with the car during a test drive (I mean it doesn’t even have a turbo). There could also possibly be people put off by concerns about RTV etc. Then finally perhaps availability of preferred colour option the final nail as TUK got down to the final dozen or so cars.

All speculation of course.

And it does say to expect delivery within 1 to 6 weeks. So likely already on these shores or enroute.

Is that meant to be Electric Blue lol

Toyota have royally screwed this up, this second batch is almost getting embarrassing now, screwing up their GR brand.

Potentially could be electric blue ‘greyed’ out as it’s unavailable.

I can’t see them introducing a new colour without hearing about it first in other markets.

To my eyes that’s how the image looks. Both white and electric blue seem “washed out” compared with the other colour circles. That said no silver so it’s a little perplexing. This is TUK though so all bets are off!
 
Unless, that is supposed to be silver. not electric blue

But I am a man of a certain age, so colour blindness plays a big part.

If that's available on the 3rd October, I might just order one! 😁

I know some of you care a bit much about residuals, but cars are to be enjoyed, and buying one because they hold their value is a bit sad (while I appreciate that everyone's circumstances are different, and high residuals are needed for some). If more people get the chance to join the club, I'm ok with that. And I'm certainly glad if people trying to sell above MSRP lose out.
