A bit of a technical question!
What’s the difference in damping rates on the Gen 2 GR Yaris compared to the Gen 1?

The Gen 1 damping rates are 1610N/890N front 1440N/860N rear compression to rebound.

Just interested to find out how the Gen 2 suspension compares.
I’ve read different opinions on suspension with some preferring the Gen 1 saying it’s more focused and others preferring the Gen 2 suspension.

I think gen2 has slightly stiffer suspension but haven't seen the spec as for gen1.
At least if feels more planted while driving.
Thanks Michael! The spring rates, especially the front are stiffer as is the front anti roll bar in the Gen 2 cars so I’d imagine that it corners flatter and not roll as much as the Gen 1.

I’m happy with how my Gen 1 handles bumpy B-roads but was just interested in how the Gen 2 compares as never driven one.
