Hi everyone, this is my first post here. I’m looking for some advice regarding four-point harnesses and how people usually install them on a GR Yaris.
I currently have a BRIDE Stradia III Low Max reclining bucket seat installed. One issue I’ve noticed is that under hard braking, if I hold the factory seat belt with my hand and pull it forward quickly, the belt locks almost immediately. However, when I’m actually braking hard and my body moves forward, the seat belt doesn’t seem to lock or hold me as firmly as I expected. I found this a bit strange.
Because of this, I’ve also bought an OMP four-point harness. I’d like to ask how other GR Yaris owners have mounted their harnesses, especially the lap belt and shoulder belt mounting points.
If anyone has installed a four-point harness with a BRIDE seat or similar setup, I’d really appreciate it if you could share some photos or details of your mounting points.
