Can anyone share how small a garage you could squeeze the GR into? Mine is typical '70s built tiny and I'm a little worried it might not fit.
My old classic Impreza would just fit in.
Based on dimensions found online of 1.8m wide and 4m long it should be OK but a bit of reassurance would be nice!

getting thru the door is one one thing....opening the car door and getting in and out is another.

what is the inside width where the car is parked? Mine is 2,8m and it helps to put the passenger side close to the wall and the other side has rubber mats on the wall to protect the door edges.

Squeeze mine into a space of about 4.15m x 2.3m, but then I’m using screens to block/protect the car from the rest of the workshop. I also had the car stored in a similar sized space for a couple of months over winter and it was an absolute pain in the a**e getting in and out of it.

I don't think it would have been possible to get mine or my girlfriends car into the garage before we switched it to a roller door, the frame took up so much space. Even her car would have only had 30cm to open the door and get out of, with the wing mirror folded in. I had to argue with a council when we wanted to do a part garage conversion we weren't losing a usable parking space because unless someone has a car made before 1990 they aren't getting the thing in, and getting out of it without climbing out the boot.

In the end highways agency decided that we actually had enough drive fortunately, even though we were 30cm or so short in width... I think the guy was annoyed with our neighbour for being a t**t

My garage is 2.55m wide and it was fine park to the left I could get in and out the supra is tighter and I put the window down the frameless doors give much more room on these cars to fold yourself in and out

70s? Luxury! I’ve got a 30s garage and was told by previous owner I would never get a car in it. I like a challenge.

It’s actually got plenty of room once through the doorway, which is 10mm wider than the door mirrors! I use them as a guide to lining the car up then fold them in.

What are the exact dimensions of the car? I’ve seen widths catalogued as 1805mm and 1927mm? I’d like to know the exact width with mirrors…

I've got about 5cm clearance max either side of each mirror, so entering the garage is a bit like a cat using its whiskers.
Needs yoga / martial art skills to get out and in again.
