I just wear whatever pair of thin-soled trainers I currently have lying around. The last pair were Adidas Seeley, very nice to drive in and lasted years.
But they are pretty much done so I am on the lookout for some replacements.
Have a pair of Speedcats too for when I want to look like a proper Driving Toolâ„¢
Have had these Piloti Drift shoes in Asphalt for a few weeks now. Extremely comfortable, the pedals feel great through them and the curved heel definitely helps rolling your foot. It sounds silly but I felt I was shifting far more smoothly given there was no chance of the occasional foot judder I'd get in my many pairs of Nike Air Force 1s. They feel hefty, very well constructed and the leather inside is great. I could definitely see myself wearing them as a slightly smarter looking pair of trainers too.
I probably would have gone for another colour but I can't complain too much seeing as I got them for a frigging TENNER on Vinted. Might be my steal of the century. May treat myself to another pair for my birthday with the spare cash left over!
