Im currently searching for some nice 17x7 rims to fit over my brakes which have some kind of TÜV certificate.

(I know that Braid makes some nice rims which fit over the brake however these cant easily be made road legal here in Germany)

I tried to fit MAK XLR 17x7 ET35 (7.9kg) but unfortunately it was touching inside the barrel. Wasn't missing much though..

Would like to try the same with the Sparco Terra 17" - but from the pictures the space inside the barrel looks pretty similar.

The search goes on... maybe somebody has some other ideas!

We could get a little list going of 17" rims which fit the ginormous brakes :)

For maximum space in barrel, flow formed rims help as they usually are thinner (and thus lighter) in the barrel. Combination of size, 17", flowformed and TüV is a long shot so...
Just browse german 17" catalogs for rims designed for lightness?

Yes the Protrack would be a nice option. However im not sure if it would fit in ET45. Ill send Protrack an email... maybe they have tested fitment with the GR Yaris already. The MAK would have been perfect as very cheap (165€ per Wheel) so it wouldn't hurt that much if they get blasted with gravel...

Not very easy finding some nice (and narrow) rims. Most of the other 17" wheel which fit are + 8" width.
I'll have another look - but it seems Iike I've looked through all the catalogs already :D

This one might be good option: https://www.mywheelz.de/detail/index/sArticle/15950

Any ideas if there is some kind of template for the Advics brake caliper of the GR Yaris similiar to this:

That would make the search a lot easier :)
