Sounds great, hasn’t quite got the harsh rasp that my Track Edition has. I’ve got 700 miles with the exhaust on now and I’m noticing some sort of heat shield rattle..maybe from the added vibration in the exhaust. To this day, I can’t figure out where exactly it’s coming from, so if you start to hear a tinny noise at low rpm loads, we might have to work together to figure out where the hell it’s coming fromI'm extremely pleased with it. No not fitted. It is a very very simple install with good video instructions, includes what tools you will need.
So it is an option to do it yourself, but don't confuse simple with easy, be a nightmare without a lift.

Are there many alternatives that also offer a nice sound without being constantly angry?
I’m looking towards the Cobra Cat-Back (which is made in the UK) probably the non-resonated version. I suppose I could always get a resonated mid-pipe later if it proves to be too noisy.

I would seriously consider the Remark. It’s not obnoxious loud. It’s loud on a cold start but I think most exhausts are. After that it’s very easy to live with and a fraction of the cost of most others.
It's the drone that concerns me* with the Remark Axle Back as it deletes the entire rear silencer (muffler delete to the USA) and I've seen some US Youtube reviewers comment about 'to expect and live with the drone'. Thoughts?
[* I wasted over £1K on a system from RPM Performance for my Kona N; the drone was so bad that I had to change everything back to OEM. The noise in the cabin was truly headache inducing but, because it was a custom exhaust there was no chance of any refund. A guy from Europe had the same issue with his RPM exhaust too. Mine is set to become a thousand pound steampunk garden ornament. I'll never buy anything from RPM ever again either.]

I've yet to install mine, hoping to do it tomorrow. But I think it would look really good with a black duckbill spoiler piece as well. Thoughts? Happy with that combo on my pearl white. 😊

The general consensus from the U.K. owners with a Remark is that it’s quieter than on the US model. I’ve not noticed any real drone although I haven’t driven it much to be fair. But I have done motorway miles since and it’s really not bad.
Some other owners have done a lot more mileage than me so might be worth hearing their thoughts?
Yeah the price point on the Remark axle back is a definite plus. Also the fact that you can DIY quite easily with a couple of plastic ramps or axle stands, which saves coin on a garage install.
I am still toying what to do, the Cobra is definitely on the short list, it sounds lovely and doesn't cost the Earth, suppose that's because its home grown. They only thing I don't like is their exhaust tip the choice.
The Remark is good but it seems a bit backwards importing it all the way from the USA for what is effectively a bit of pipe, I imagine a local exhaust company can replicate it for less.
I know what you mean, Hobson's Choice - to my mind the twin wall 'Outverted Slash Cut' are a bit more 'finished' looking than the single wall and not too dissimilar from the OEM tips. The Carbon Fibre ones do look nice but they are an extra £160 on their own! The thing is, I have a nice set of 4.5" Glossy C/F ones sitting on my shelf but they are for 76mm (3") pipework, so I'd need to employ some kind of adapter to have them fit on the end of a Cobra 2.5" pipe which I don't think would look right with two sets of Mikalor clamps so close together...

Would that put the revs at about 2.5k? You can bet yer bottom dollar that an AT would select that gear for me too, especially when on the A roads up here . Thanks for the confirmation. I'll have to spend a couple of hundred more on the Cobra system then. I feel a road trip to England could be on the cards; ooh, hotel, steak & ale pie, pint of Guiness, new exhaust and back to Scotland before the missus can say "WTF have you bought now?!"

Milltek resonated now fitted. I knew I wanted something better than the standard exhaust which just seems too quiet for the car, but didn’t want to go too loud as I use my car daily. I was tempted with the Cobra resonated, but then I spotted the Milltek resonated with £250 off. Love the look of it, and it’s pretty much the sound I was after. I managed to find a friend with access to a ramp, so swapped it with his help. Took a couple of hours, hardest bit was lining up the tips to look the same on both sides.
