GR86 Exhausts

I like blue exhaust tips, they compliment the car nicely. πŸ‘Œ

Remark on. Fairly easy job and it sits nearly perfectly.
Quite fruity! Transforms the car though and genuinely makes it easier to drive at low speeds.

My Remark exhaust arrived on Thursday and I'm getting it fitted in a couple of weeks.

I switched off the fake engine noise in preparation and took the car out for a high rpm spin to feel the difference.

Whilst it's less drama at top end, it's easier for me to understand how the engine responds, and I'm hoping the exhaust will make it that much more prominent.

I would really appreciate if anyone could post sound clips of the Remark axleback... I am wondering how does it sound with the GPF.

Another exhaust to add to the many choices available.. Fujitsubo A-R exhaust with the optional blue tips (supplied by Torque GT).

Stunning design and compliments the car really well. Not very loud, but a nice proper grunt when driving. No drone at all when driving at 60 / 70. The only thing I find odd is the lack of noise in the top end, when you are really pushing the car.

Would love to see (hear) what a front pipe would add to the system, but guess not an option yet with the GPF. Apologies, no videos available yet... on my to-do list.

Most systems will be like this because of their use of absorption type silencers. Nice at low end then fade away up the top end. Whilst a front pipe can sort it, it will be a MOT failure when it comes to it, unless you manage to get a GPF in an aftermarket pipe.

I’d quite like to hear this under load, through the gears and ideally in the cabin as well as external static shot as it passes.

Does a modified front pipe increase the overall noise of the exhaust?

I find my HKS too boomy even for just driving around normally.

On the old car it did. I tried a high flow catted front pipe with no resonators and it made it very loud. Sounded incredible but it became a switch, loud on throttle or overrun, acceptable at cruising speed. Found a happy medium with a double resonated decatted front pipe. Both not possible on the new car as it has a GPF. Helmholtz type resonators will be the most effective method to get rid of the boomyness.

Is the GPF located at front pipe?πŸ€”

Supersprint should have some pipes
