Hello All,

I started to drive my Yaris GR on the nurburgring.
The car is currently at Raeder motorsport (Manthey Racing) for KW clubsport V4 suspensions installation.
I will drive the car this weekend, can't wait to feel the difference :)

I installed Endless pads N39S but the were gone in 16 laps... I am pretty shocked.
Do you guys have the same experience ? (on the nurburgring or elsewhere)

Raeder motorsport is going to put MA45B front (endurance pads) and ME20 rear.
The MA45B should last longer (how long ???? I don't know) but I am afraid the rear ME20 is going to be coocked quicky

I am also installing Girodiscs front.

Frederic from France.

I've heard about from a few fellow trackday friends about Endless brake pads, and then not just one type of them. They become "grainy" and just disappears very rapidly. They say they have bedded them in according to the instruction ...but who knows
Reliable sources told me to buy Performance Friction or CarboTech. I ended up with CarboTech XP8 beacuse they where available, they are very good but now I'm in need of some more brake cooling. Without added extra brake cooling they overheat on "small regular" tracks, and is on the limit to overheat all the time on Nurburg ring.

I heard that there are fake endless pads on the market. If you think the price for the pads seem pretty good you should be careful. Thats what a german tuning company said in one of their youtube videos.

I got an email from a client who uses the Endless Pads we installed in his car for now about 8‘000km and two trackdays.
Nearly no wear. And that‘s also the experience i had on my own car with different Endless Pads.

But if you‘re tracking the car i highly recommend additional brake cooling and Shims.
That way, whatever pads you‘re using, they just survive much longer.

I bought the N39S pads from a well known seller : Co-Ord in netherlands
My car is ready at Manthey Racing, I am going to pick it up on saturday.
I am confident the MA45B will last longer at the front, but I am afraid of the ME20 at the rear.
Will see !

I will think about buying shims too.

I used nothing but PF 01 pads for the best part of 10 years on a competition Evo V1 and had no complaints whatsoever.

what news of the KW V4, how much difference to factory stuff ??

Definitely better but I thought the car would be more "transformed".

That said on saturday I was "just" happy with this modification but on sunday, surely because of a higher pace I was more convinced than saturday.
I did 2 laps that were fabulous in term of feelings, this car is so great !

- body is way better controlled
- stiffer but almost as confortable as OEM (my POV)
- the car is much better over crests (schwedenkreuz, or the one just before Stefan-Bellof S)
- a lot less understeer but still understeer (but hey.....Michelin 4S tyres....)
- FYI I didn't ask for a 100% track alignement but +/- 65%
- Definitely better lap times
- May be an expensive upgrade for what it's worth, too me it's worth it but I would understand for some not.

On the road I loved this modification too. you feel the car way better and it doesn't dive while cornering/brakink anymore.

A big BUT, while driving back to France I noticed the car doesn't go straight at all and the sterring wheel is not aligned, Raeder motorsport told me it was because of track use and driving on curbs. I don't believe this at all ! Settings shouldn't move like that !

Sorry if my english is not perfect.

We've found the Endless N39S to be superb, fast road and UK circuits. I was very impressed with how well they work from cold on the road, braking performance is exceptional.....to the point the Syvecs shut the engine down due to engine oil surge under braking. This was on the road with AR1 tyres.

On track, these pads really warrant an engine oil baffle solution such as the Lamspeed engine baffle kit.

On track they are superb. We have a customer who can use up OEM front pads in a day. The N39S last him 5 track days. Just as well given the cost of them, but he feels money well spent

ahhhh that was you wouter phoned me about =D do you drive with electornics "on"? The GRY is no RS

Yes that was me :)😅
Wouter helped me a lot to sort this out.

Electronics always off even when it's raining 💪✊😂

Now I have ME22 rear and MA45B front and also girodiscs front.
But when I picked up the car in Manthey racing, I realised that in fact I still have a lot of materials on previous pads. Raeder motorsports told me the pads were worn, they should have been more precise 😕. I have them in a box now and don't know what I will do with those.

Anyway no more vibrations now....I guess it came from the discs and/or the pads. Too much heat or incorrect bedding maybe but I was very patient with that.

On my new pads I did the same bedding procedure as my RS (surface transforms ceramic discs / pagid pads), it's a very precise 4 steps procedure.

So I am good now, this setup will last a lot longer, already 18 laps and all look very good (but a lot of those 18 laps were wet laps with rain)

Next step : Some wheels and track tyres.

I'll be at the nurburgring saturday and sunday ;-) RS or GR depend of the weather....

Hi,

Would you mind sharing this 4 steps procedure for a newbie like me ?

just keep them as a spare if something happens. also check regularly for uneven wear so you can change the pads all around on the calipers. i've never bedded pads in. just put them on the car did slower laps for machanical bedding of the surfaces and then normal faster driving for cooking al the glue and stuff and then cool everything down. this is only for normal pads, not for sintermetallic pads, these can be used straight away after mechanical bedding.

Always use endless brake pad
On me20 it last very long
