GR86 Electric Blue #2

Well this is disappointing, absolutely no idea how it happened.

Reckon any decent wheel repair shop can sort that quickly and fairly cheap. It sucks but I wouldn’t worry too much mate, at least you’re driving it! 😊

There's a slight chunk out of the tyre on mine (yeah, well played rim protector, good job mate ).
I did notice that one of my wheels already does have a stone chip on it though...

Alright, you've twisted my arm, refurb time!

It's annoying, I know...I've been in a foul mood since I spotted it. But shit happens. It's not like it should stop you enjoying the car, and repairing damage like that is at least fairly easy, unlike if it was a scratch on the bodywork. Colour it in with a black Sharpie and try and ignore it :p

I'll probably get another Alloy Wheel Insurance policy when the time comes. The last one cost me £170 for 2 years and I could make up to 10 claims (maximum £150 each up to a total of £1,500) within the policy term. If I hadn't used it I would have got a full refund but, I had a couple of scuff repairs done in year One (Mobile smart repairs at £90 each) so I got nowt back although it had already paid for itself by then. I did get my GAP insurance refunded though, which was nice :)

I went there the day after I picked my car up from Berkshire, and the roads were packed

Bit of a write up for those interested; I was in America for work and I collected a Honda Motocompacto (which had been pre-ordered for months).

Why? It's fun and I quite like the challenge of getting it on the airplane :ROFLMAO:

For those who don't know it's a modern successor to the legendary Motocompo https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Honda_Motocompo

They have sold out in the US and aren't available in the UK due to our e-scooter rules. I assume this is the only one in the UK.
  • It has max speed of 15mph (i've managed 17mph) :D
  • 12 mile range
  • 0-15mph in 7 secs

It folds up in a super clever and neat way.

It's really fun and comfortable to ride, surprisingly stable and nippy!

I'm not familiar with it scooter rules, do you know what makes them illegal here?
