GR86 Disable keyless entry

Will be giving it a go but just ordered a couple of Faraday Pouches, also have Diskloks on my other cars but will, be using my new Stoplock in the 86.
 
I’ve managed to get into the habit of pressing the unlock button twice whilst holding down lock to put the key to sleep (the light on the key flashes 4 times I think to confirm) and keyless entry definitely doesn’t work once I’ve done it. It’s annoying to have to do each time, but it just comes naturally now to me. I also use faraday pouches to keep the keys in as well just in case I forget.
 
Do we know if it can be disabled via Techstream? I’ve already got a small list of things to do with it when I get my car (keyfob window control, Sound Control, Passenger unlock) maybe this too if it’s a dealer option?

Yikes! Folk just trying the door or attempting some "persuasion"? I would have thought GR rarity would be a good thing in terms of car thieves - harder to move one on or clone it unlike a range rover or a 3 series

Mirrors my thoughts in not being the usual theft fodder, I know thieves will have a low IQ but surely they must know their market? Or do they take the "ooohh shiny new car must steal" approach. :unsure:

Trying to bounce a signal, one by the door and another near the building trying to catch a signal. I just manually disable it and have a steering lock as a deterrent now.

Ooh how did you know? Have you got a clever toerag detector device?

I am going to get a Faraday pouch and hope that does the damage
 
I really don’t get the fuss.

Press and hold the lock button on the key fob, while doing so hit the unlock twice. Your get 4 blinks of the fob LED, that’s keyless OFF until you press the unlock on the fob.
