I collected my car almost 15 months to the day since I placed my order with Toyota Buy Online,

The final week of waiting was a bit of a rollercoaster with the online system for Toyota finance failing to work properly, so I had to go into the dealer a few days later to sign a hard copy. The next day I was told that there were problems with that as well so they asked me to do it all online again.

Thankfully that worked and they did the tax and registration as a priority job that afternoon so that I could collect shortly before close of business the same day. Snows of Exeter also added some nice touches to say sorry for all the repeated delays.

First trip out that evening was a great blat on some Devon B-roads from Exeter across Dartmoor through Moretonhampstead to Riccas Italian Restaurant in Newton Abbot, with a free desert thrown in once the waitress learnt about my new car

I only had the car for a couple of days and did a couple of hundred miles before it was collected by Topaz Bristol for PPF and ceramic coating.

Whilst it was away I did a bit of shopping for some simple finishing touches

Car came back from Topaz looking fantastic

… and it was a cinch to add the gear knob and mud flaps

I used Topaz, their London branch, attention to detail was best ever from the initial wash and report of paint condition to the invisible PPF around the difficult Yaris front puts them right at top of their game, the follow up inspection some weeks later with free wash and vacuum is also impressive

I can see you had the fake wrap removed on the roof. Did you have the roof PPF aswell ? Does taking the wrap off affect the roof warranty ? Only asking as it looks great and thinking of doing the same .
