Following up on this (although I think someone posted it in another thread) - no. The only option under keyless entry is to set whether or not it flashes the hazards. The mind boggles as to why this isn't an option on UK cars :/

Could it be coded by the dealer?

I guess so. But it's just irritating, that I have to drive to the dealer and wait for them to do it, when on the US cars, it's a simple as just going into the car's settings. What's the rationale on having them different?

Similarly, there's mention in the manual that if you click and hold the unlock button on the fob, the windows roll down. But that this has to be activated by a dealer.

Why on Earth not just have these settings in the menu, or have them enabled by default?!
 
From reading the manual this morning, the customisable options have to be done by dealer i think.

I’ll speak to them tomorrow and see what they say, as if so next time I’m passing I’ll get it coded as it’s a pain.
 
Nothing in Carista. Plugged the dongle in and it barely gets the default OBD2 codes read if you wanted to. A shame as the GT86 had things you could tweak. Emailed a few weeks ago and they said no support for the GR but had hoped they didn't understand what it was. It's a shame as it's been a handy app and free for me as I was an early beta tester.
 
Almost a week in. Tomorrow I'm taking my brother for his first spin over my test route I normally take the Street Triple out on as I want his thoughts as he's put almost 60k on his GT86 since he's had it. Done just over 200 miles so far, had two half tanks, not gone over 5k but again it's plenty quick enough below that. Fuelly reckons 24.5mpg which given It's mainly been in traffic it's matching roughly with what the dash says Have seen over 30mpg on longer stretches but conditions and traffic have been against me. I've no doubt it will improve with some miles on it. Getting into the routine of having phone ready to connect to the car and not in my pocket which is awkward to fish out once you're in it. Loving Android Auto, need to find what else I can do with it. Although I often clip the speech button when turning some corners and it starts the voice recognition. Gets annoying

Then got a nice Mid Wales drive to friends just South of Aberystwyth on Boxing day to look forward to. These were my old commute roads and know every inch. The exciting bit will be finding what lines the 86 likes over everything else I've driven on them. Like with the bike I think it will provide a fresh perspective to the road and make it all the more exciting.
 
So only had the car since Wednesday and loving it. I’ve only really done short journeys in it so far mainly taking out friends and family. Everyone is very impressed with it and think it looks fantastic. The quality of the cabin is better than I imagined or took in on my test drive, the clutch and gearbox were very easy to get used to, and the car is (at slow speeds atleast) much more civilised than I was expecting. My only 2 concerns so far are 1) which has been mentioned on here before: the mirrors don’t fold in when locking the car- does anyone have a solution yet? and 2)I’m conscious of how low the car is and find myself crawling over speed bumps- anyone scraped the car underneath yet?? I may be being over cautious but just wondering what others think? These are normal speed bumps I’m talking about, I haven’t tried the dome type ones yet (where your wheels almost stay flat but the bump is raised in the middle!)

First 10 times driving off my driveway I held my breath, also some nasty speedbumps on my commute. I have to stop on one of those someday and check how close it is.
So far doesn't seem like a big issue. Not braking right before you get on a speedbump helps, so the nose doesn't dive. Feels like a short overhang too.
