GR86 Colour change for wheels

OK, so here we go with some before and after shots.
Am absolutely delighted with the outcome, think they just lift the overall looks👍

Just need to get the Calipers painted now👍
 
I am going to give these a whirl to see how they fit. Same stud fitment as my ST205 GT-Four. 17" Volk CV-Pro 235 width AD08R's so a bit more grip as well. ET38 8J wheel so should fit fine hopefully.

Hi, it’s Shadow Crome. There is also black chrome, but they were just a little too dark.
 
Wonder if there's a gold shadow chrome. That maybe cool as I've be toying with the idea of getting next set of wheels in a gold colour but not bright yellow gold like old Subaru's
 
Mine are the standard mattish black. I changed my wifes fiesta wheels to a gloss black which look great so my GR wheels are now at the painters being powder coated gloss black. Should be back on the car at the weekend. Watch this space.

Yes, especially as I am taking customisation to a new level and have bought some GR Racing decals to go on them, in a similar way F1 wheels used to have OZ RACING and stuff like that. These are in addition to the GR Dust caps! doesn't get much more exciting than this.

Well get on with it so you can post some photos :)
 
So, I ended up cancelling my order for the GR 86 so the wheel colour won't be any further concern for me. The GR Yaris that I ordered in July 2021 is due in a few days time so my focus is on that now and I may look at having the wheel colour changed on that so I'll be jumping across to that part of the forum but at least my initial question has created some debate; cheers guys (y)

Well at least you're still getting a GR. Did you manage to test drive both?
