The app isn’t useless, it’s recorded the information and is available to you to view if it was useless there would be nothing. Using the same login details online will then give the detail which when/if you go to sell to an enthusiast who would like to know more you can present to them.
The crap part of it is that they clearly have just service/repair when they should have a parts option.
Personally for me I’ve sold my last 3 cars to trade and all they were interested in was the service book being stamped. So I’m not fussed what an app says.
