Pedantry strikes again! Guessed correctly on the first attempt despite my answer being rejected. Attempted several other combinations of descriptions all of which it was too fickle to accept.

Yes, same despite it saying otherwise I’m taking that as I got it in one.
 
Two for me. Properly. Read your comments above and was a bit lucky when putting the additional detail in.
 
Three for me today.. but was correct on one.

On the subject of fussiness. Last week, on the VW Golf one, the correct answer was VW Golf (my third answer). But, I noticed that the name which appeared above the image, once correct, was Volkswagen Golf (my second answer). Frustrating!
 
Failure for me today, guessed what it was by the third photo, but I didn't know the exact name it seemed to want again.

Three for me today. I went for contemporaries from the same era for pics one and two, but hit the target after picture three.

30 or so years ago a work colleague had one. I was immensely impressed with the performance as a 20 year old Metro GTI owner!
 
One for me. I wasn't certain, but a 50/50 guess. Paid off!
 
Just seen this, what a great find.
0 for me this morning but then realised I have to enter car make AND model …. Like it says in the text box 😄

I could clear out my cookies in the browser to reset my session and get it on the first attempt to show off now.
