GR Yaris Carbon Ceramic Brakes?

Hey guys,

tried doing a quick search but didn't really turn up anything.

what's the general consensus on here regarding Carbon Ceramic Brakes? Street and/or track use.

I understand a lot on here probably haven't used CCB/CCM's before as no one makes any for small wheels, but if a size was developed to fit with 15/16/17's and at a very reasonable cost, would there be sufficient interest?

I had some on my last car and they were fantastic but I was terrified of the cost to replace them. Thank god I never had to!

I don't feel the GRY needs much more brakes but if carbons were available that outperformed OEM at a reasonable price then I reckon there'd be quite a bit of interest. Definitely a market of 1 customer at least!

CCM Brakes need roughly 30% more area to deliver the same brake energy as steel brakes.
That‘s why they‘re always huge and no one makes them for 15/16/17“ wheels.

I have CCM on my GR and they‘re awesome, but rather expensive for permanent and exclusive track use.

For the GR in particular, I'd have them just for the lack of bloody brake dust!! Had carbons on my last 2 cars and the difference was amazing when cleaning!

I‘m selling mine if you want them, because we gonna test something new.
Far cheaper than the new ones in my Shop.

Not worth it for my usage Phil. I do like 1000 miles a year in mine!
