GR86 Car cover for GR86

Folks, my magnetite grey is due for delivery next week and I just learnt that our immediate neighbour is starting significant construction work next month. This is making me anxious, as the last time they had minor construction work, it left some strange, though mild, droplet marks on our Qashqai which wouldn't come off. I didn't mind at the time cause there was no emotional connection with that car as such. Ofcourse the story is complete completely diff with this car, that we all share.

I am in Greater London, so blocking a full garage for GR86 is a luxury I cannot afford. Thought a good quality cover might be the next best thing for me here, unless of course they drop a brick on it. Any recommendations for a good quality cover would be much appreciated. As a bonus it might also protect the car from extreme weather, as it is essentially going to be my weekend car.

I do not hace a good recommendation. But i do want to warn that there is risk of the silvery insides of "cheaper" car covers transferring onto the paint of the car, especially at corners like the top of the sharkfin ant and various protruding corners.

Dun ask me how i know.
 
Thanks @Jianlun thats actually very useful to know. Now I want recommendation for a tried and tested cover all the more :)
 
You can get halfords one's which do the job but ideally you want one which won't scratch your paintwork when blown around.
Some one's here varying costs.

Halfords one looks great, size is a bit an issue, M size is just not wide enough at 1750mm. ( 440cm x 175cm x 135cm)and according to spec, gr86 is 1775mm. So not sure if L size (470cm x 180cm x 135cm) would be too big🤷🏻‍♂️ and flap around…
 
I called Dealsership (as clueless and useless as ever), and Toyota Online (who are usually good) today. They dont do any Gr86 specific covers. Wonder if there is a GT86 cover that can do an equally good job for a GR86.
