GR Yaris Camber Bolts

Fitted oem ones myself 6 months ago with no problems so far. People prefer the offset washer type for adjustability. Some prefer the oem type for the unmolested look.
Did you replace the top bolt or the bottom bolt as the manual seems to indicate?

Anyone know roughly how long it takes to fit the front Eibach camber bolts?

Swapping the bolts is fast, more time spent on rising and lowering the car. Though not sure how Eibach camber bolts differ.
For a shop I'd say its 1hr job, for hobby mech I'd reserve 2hrs. + adjustment.

I replaced the top bolt with a 1 dot and it gave me about 2*12’ which was 30’ more than it was as std. Decided that was probably enough as I drive pretty fast on mountain roads. I also went +1mm total toe out and if I get it done again I will set it more towards zero. I have followed quite a few across wales that don’t seem to handle as well as mine as they have springs etc.

Thank you. Do you think you would have got more or less negative camber if you put the one dot bolt in the bottom hole instead?

I think it would be less but when you look it makes more sense to have the thinner bolt in the top for ease of adjustment and longevity. The weight tries to max out camber so the bolts are against a hard stop so can’t move. Well they could without weight but it’s less likely. If you are worried it isn’t going to be enough put a 2 dot in.
I didn’t worry too much about getting each side exactly correct as it wouldn’t have been as std and wasn’t likely to be worse with the mod bolts.
The most important thing is it hasn’t been noticeable by anyone as the bolts look exactly the same.
