Just about to renew my breakdown cover with MrT expecting £76 for another year and find they are offering two years for £135 - one payment.
It is full cover with the AA so I think this is a bit of a bargain at £67.50 per year.
Any money we can save on something I was going to buy anyway must be a good thing.

That's not that good, IMO.

I have driver cover with all the trimmings for £40pa. So that covers me not just on the new, low mileage Toyota but on anything else I drive - e.g. my partner's old banger. I won't recommend the specific policy provider, I just used a comparison website.

Got to say that the AA really let me down when my yaris needed recovering. Called them at 8:30, van came out at about 11, left at half 12 saying recovery should be about 90 minutes.

I left it half an hour or so past their ETA, called up to see what was going on to be told that they had been delayed and would be another hour or 2. This repeated until at 10pm they told me it would be half 11 at night and I told them to forget it. Ended up limping the car to the dealer myself.

Whatever the cost, its not worth the paper it's written on imo, they clearly don't have enough people.

Not sure whether the Toyota terms are standard across all breakdown companies and whether it's policed or enforced, but worth taking note of the following statement if you have modified your car.

To qualify as an Eligible Vehicle the vehicle must:

(a) have been branded and sold by Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA in Europe or Us in the UK as a Category M1 or N1 Toyota motor vehicle;

(b) not have been modified structurally, mechanically or electronically otherwise with the permission of Toyota Motor Europe NV/SA or save for the purpose of enabling it to be lawfully re-registered in the United Kingdom;

Where do people get these offers from? I've seen a few people now get offered to extend their cover, but I've never been sent anything. £67.50 pa for full AA cover is a good price IMO. The wife & I have personal cover (either of us covered in any car) & it's £220 & that's after some serious haggling, as it should be & 300 pa. You can slate any of the breakdown services as none are any better than the other. We had an awful experience with the RAC in 2016 & I swore never to use them again. We've never had any issues when we've had to call out the AA.

It's on the Toyota website under Servicing & Owners.

I received a reminder in the post for my first car which was a dealer order just before 12 mths - car had been sold so was irrelevant.
Nothing received for my online order car, which is now 1 year old, but can be organised using the link above.

It is true what KSC says about being able to get cheaper cover. I got greenflag for my little city car as it never goes out of Bradford and I know there are many local garages in the area that get called out for them.
I am old fasioned and like RAC and AA and when needed over the last 40 years have been happy with them.
I think £67.50 for AA p.a. - the full package especially"at home" is a good deal - for AA.
I wish they would just produce one package that covers servicing and breakdown as they do with the new AygoX. It costs £15 per month for a 3 year service plan and 3 years breakdown cover (years 2&3).
