Hi guyโ€™s looking at getting new pads , the std ones have done well at 20k๐Ÿ‘
The std pads are cheap too, but looking may at get ones with better initial bite?
Anybody recommend anything?

For road bias, you can consider Endless MX72/MX72 plus that has great reviews, but really, if you did 20k with the first set, OE pads are just fine.

For initial bite, make a habit to brake from high speed on a regular basis even if only just commuting, to keep the pad surface fresh and bity...

Would like something with less dust for sure๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ

Are the pads easy to change yourself? I have always done my motorcycles myself but not done a car for a few years..

I am competent with a spanner just curious to know if any special tools are required which makes it uneconomic to do yourself

Thanks

Pad changes are easy as pie! It is literally a 15 min job per wheel and it does not need any special tools. I do use gloves, but I'm fancy...

You've done well getting 20k miles out of a std set. Mine seem to last around 2.5-3 days! I've been trying out the DS2500's atm. They are defo a bit better than the std pad re feel and bite, and dust does seem mildly better too.

Yeah well easy to change ๐Ÿ‘
Std pads are good for the money, just very dusty ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿ’จ๐Ÿš—

Happy with EBC RP-X. But theyre officially track use only. Grips as stock when cold but when theyre hot they are just epic

Ok thanks everyone! And a video to assist me as well!! Even i can't mess this up!!

And even i do i will not be telling you lot!! :ROFLMAO:

And a ยฃ100 saved too... The stealer wanted ยฃ180 for a pad change on the front, I bought original pads for ยฃ75 and 30 mins of my labour hopefully!

before removing the pads worth pushing the pistons in so you avoid messing up the dust seals. othervise should be quite easy job.
