Well this is poor! 6000miles in!

Only nearside front which of course gets the most battering, not going to be long before they look bloody awful!
 
A few people have painted theirs, some pro some DIY, think I will have a go at DIY, can't be any worse than letting them get rusty.
 
If you want to keep the original finish, you could try a coating - Dlux works quite well on calipers (and exhaust tips and plastic trim) - lasts about a year
 
I'm having some ceramic coating put on mine, no idea if it will help. Worst case, I'm getting them painted, even more worst case, a new brake kit with multi-piston calipers... đŸ¤”
 
Used BCS paint on our previous Golf R discs hubs (that start looking rather crap pretty quickly) to good effect. Plan to use their paint on the callipers, just currently deciding on either Silver or Gun Metal (on a silver GR86), don't wish to make them shout out is my preference hence these colours.
