GR Yaris Braided lines & race fluid with stock brakes

I'd hazard a guess and say that if the ESP is having to work hard enough on the road to make a meaningful contribution to heat/wear then there are perhaps bigger problems than going through brake pads more quickly!

Ok, leaning towards the "RAVENOL R325+", as I think highly of their engine oil and products in general; so, it also makes sense cost-wise to group orders. Its specs are:
  • US FMVSS 116 DOT 4
  • DOT 5.1
  • SAE J 1703
  • SAE J 1704
so, I believe it should meet Toyota requirements for FMVSS No.116 DOT4 or SAE J1704LV and seems to be competition-grade, unless someone says otherwise. No trackdays, so aiming to have it changed every 6k miles / 12 months.

Regarding capacity & quantities, how much does the car need and, just as importantly, how much should I bring to Toyota, to be on the safe side (ie let them have a bit more available, just in case). @Bronson I believe you had asked a question regarding capacity, but probably ended up finding out yourself in practice.

Alternatively, would this be as good, you think?

maybe. I have had issues with 3d printed parts durability under the car. printed brake duct was cracked - now glued and it might work but at the moment ducts are off the car (for sale 100€). they could work together with RS3 scoops just without the connecting pipes. but don't have time nor energy to fiddle with car at the moment so driving as such.

Braided brakeline will improve the consistency of the brake feel. There will be no deformation of the line under heavy heat.
