GR86 Bottles that fit?

[grzoostuff]

Hi All,

I remember seeing a post that someone recommended drinks bottles were a perfect fit behind in centre console that holds 2 drinks in the GR86 - from aliexpress?
Can't seem to find the post - anyone know what it was?

Cheers.

GR86 Thread 'Armrest Cupholder Compatible Flask'

Jan 17, 2025

After installing a wireless CarPlay adapter in the armrest cubby, and MagSafe charger powered from the glovebox, my armrest storage was not getting used. I didn’t want it open to hold bottles, so I went on the hunt for a bottle or flask that was small enough to fit (if anyone is interested, 106mm maximum height, 71mm maximum diameter).

I managed to find an insulated flask on AliExpress and ordered 2 - one for me, one for my wife. Came to about £7.50 each delivered. Usable volume is about 200ml, which is admittedly tiny but enough to hold a small latte/flat white. The fit was a bit tight...

Cheers, I keep hitting my elbow when I put taller drinks there, so this is perfect. Thanks
